At Secret Scents, we aim to get your order to you as quickly and safely as possible. Please review the details below to understand how shipping with us works.
Processing Times
We process orders Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
Order processing window: 1–2 business days.
Orders placed after 12:00pm NZT: These will be processed the following working day, depending on how many orders we are fulfilling at that time.
You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped. This email will include your tracking number so you can monitor your parcel.
⚠️ Please note: Processing times are subject to change during peak periods or unforeseen delays.
Shipping Rates & Options
Residential Shipping (NZ Urban Addresses)
We offer fast and reliable residential delivery across New Zealand.
Standard (No Signature) – $7.00
Delivered in 1–2 business days. This option is at the customer’s risk, as parcels may be left without a signature.
Standard (Signature Required) – $8.50
Delivered in 1–2 business days with added security. A signature will be required upon delivery.
Rural Shipping (NZ Rural Addresses)
Rural addresses require additional handling and extended delivery times.
Rural Standard (No Signature) – $13.50
Delivered in 3–5 business days. Please ensure you select Rural Shipping to avoid processing delays.
Rural Standard (Signature Required) – $15.00
Delivered in 3–5 business days with signature for extra security.
‼️ Important: Please select the correct shipping option at checkout. Choosing the wrong rate may delay your order until the difference is corrected.
If a rural address is entered but residential shipping is selected, your order may be paused while we contact you to arrange the correct shipping payment.
Free shipping is available on all New Zealand orders over $100 NZD.
Currently, we only ship within New Zealand.
Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by courier demand, weather, or other unforeseen events.
• Urban addresses: 1–2 business days after dispatch.
• Rural addresses: 3–5 business days after dispatch.

Tracking & Delivery
Every order includes a tracking number, which will be emailed to you once your order has been shipped.
Please ensure your shipping details are correct at checkout.
⚠️ Please note: Items sent to an incorrect address provided by the customer cannot be replaced or refunded by Secret Scents.
Shipping Address Corrections
We understand mistakes happen! If you’ve entered the wrong shipping address, here’s what to do:
• Order still processing: If your order is still in the fulfilment stage, please email us immediately using the contact form above. Include your order number and the correct address, and we’ll update it before your parcel is shipped. (Please note this may cause a short delay.)
• Order already with NZ Post: If your order has already been handed over to NZ Post, you’ll need to arrange a redirection using the NZ Post Tracking Tool before your parcel is out for delivery. You can find instructions here:

⚠️ Please note: NZ Post may charge a fee for redirection services, and we are unable to cover this cost on your behalf.

Missing or Delayed Orders
If your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe:
- Check your tracking link for updates.
- Contact the courier directly for more detailed delivery information.
If you’re still having trouble, please reach out to us at info@secretscents.co.nz with your order number and details of the issue.
Missing Items or Damaged Orders
If your parcel:
- Arrives damaged
- Contains missing items, or
- Shows as delivered but you haven’t received it.
Please submit a claim directly with NZ Post using their online form:
Our support team is happy to guide you through this process if required.
⚠️ Please note: Secret Scents cannot be held responsible for damage or loss once your parcel is in the care of NZ Post, but we will assist with any claims to the best of our ability.
